The Deer Hunter - Russian Roulette Scene

In what ways does the clip shock? 

The clip shocks by using the element of shock and tension to build up the shock aspect, also through the use of seen brutality against other human beings. The use of the game Russian Roulette also gives the audience an aspect long drawn shock as they never know who is going to get shot.

Does the scene provide any feeling of uplift?

The scene does provide a sense of uplift to the audience when the soldiers begin to fight back, also providing the audience with a sense of hope for the rest of the film.

How does the clip make you feel? 

The clip does make me feel shocked, through the use of violence and the brutality against other humans. Also, through this use of violence it gives the audience an extreme sense of shock and suspense through the use of the game Russian Roulette.

What Went Well:
I enjoyed doing the American film topic and the Living with Crime topic, as I enjoyed the films and found it an interested subject area.

Even Better If:
It would of been better if I had kept on top of my coursework more, started revision earlier.
